@Ienaga Ikoma's childhood name was Masatoshi and people called him Hachiemon.
He had five brothers and sisters and Kitsunob was one of them. Kitsunob
became a wife(concubine ) of Nobunaga Oda and gave birth to Nobutada,
Nobuo, and Tokuhime ( later she became a wife of Nobuyasu, the son of
Ieyasu Tokugawa).
Ienaga served Nobukiyo Oda, the master of Inuyama castle, and later served
Nobunaga. He did splendid job in the battle of Ukino in 1558 and the cattle
of Okehazama in 1561. And in 1562, he supported Nobunaga in many battles
and attacks such as the battle of Moribe and the attack on Koguchi, Anegawa,
Komaki, Nagakute, and Odawara.
By 1561, he became very close to Nobunaga and received "letter to
permit traveling all over the country". The content was as follows:
@You and your descendants are allowed to transport and sell the merchandises
by using one horse freely in the Owari country.

@With the effect of this letter, the family business, rent horse business,
was very successful and he gained great power. He had a talent as a businessman,
too.
Ienaga who mastered both literary and military art died January 7, 1607,
and buried in Kyusho Temple, Hocho mountain graveyard.
